Bob founded Glavin Jacobson Inc. as Robert Glavin, Inc. in 1999 following twenty-five years as a senior staff member and CEO in various organizations. His broad experience and varied expertise enable him to assist nonprofits to address and solve many challenges related to management, governance, and fundraising. In addition to his work in consulting, Bob has taught graduate-level classes in nonprofit management at the University of San Francisco and San Francisco State University. He is a popular conference speaker and board retreat facilitator. He has served many organizations as a volunteer or board member. Bob is the author of “Nonprofits in America,” published by Wiley in “Nonprofit Management 101: A Complete and Practical Guide for Leaders and Professionals.”
